Your demo
You’re looking at the portal your candidates and members use.
Cachetto has two sides. The portal is where the people you serve sign up, pay, keep their details current, and see where they stand. Your staff work in a separate workspace, on the same records. A demo opens on the portal. This page explains what that means for what you see, what in your demo came from you, and where to find the staff side.
Two sides, one set of records
What the portal does, and what your staff do
The portal
What you’re looking at
- Sign up, and complete the steps a journey asks for.
- See where they stand: what they hold, what is in progress, and what is next.
- Pay fees and buy what you offer, and keep the receipts.
- Keep their own details current.
The staff workspace
Shown in a live demo
- Review what comes in and mark each requirement met.
- Record payments taken by phone or by mail, and apply them.
- Build journeys: the milestones someone moves through and the steps that gate each one.
- Design the pages and forms the portal shows.
- Connect payments, accounting, tax, and the other systems you already run.
The staff side
Where the journey in your demo is built
Staff define each journey once: its milestones, and the steps that gate each one. The checklist a person sees in the portal is this configuration, evaluated against their own record.
The staff side
Where the portal’s pages are designed
The questions a person answers in the portal, and where each answer is stored, are set by your staff, not by us in code.
Review
What someone submits in the portal arrives on the staff side to be reviewed, and each requirement is marked met there.
Payments
Payments taken in the portal are recorded where staff see them straight away. Payments taken any other way are recorded by staff.
Journeys
First-time, renewal, reinstatement, and upgrade routes are all configuration your staff can read and change.
Connections
Payment, accounting, and tax providers are connected and checked from the staff side.
Your demo
What came from you, and what is the product
Your demo is the real product, configured with a draft of your programs.
Drafted from your site and your answers
- Your organization’s name, colors, and logo.
- Your programs, the steps each one takes, its fees, and its exam and renewal rules.
- The words on the portal home page.
The product, as every client gets it
- Everything that runs: how a journey advances, how a payment is taken and recorded, how a receipt is built.
- The layout of every page and how the pages connect.
- A sample history for you, so the pages have something real to show from the first sign-in.
The draft was written with the help of a language model, checked by code, and reviewed by a person before your demo was built. It can still be wrong in the ways a first draft is wrong. How we use AI explains each step, and where the model is never used.
Getting around
Three things to try first
Open “About this page” in the strip at the top of the demo.
Every page in the demo has a short explanation of what the person using it sees, and where your staff come in behind it. It follows you as you move around.
Open one of your programs and read its checklist.
The steps are the ones drafted for your program. Each one says what has to be true, not who makes it true, because that is your process to decide.
Tell us what is off.
The status page for your demo has a place to say what the draft got wrong. A person reads it.
Questions we get
Straight answers
Where is the software my staff would use?
It is a separate workspace, and it is not in a self-serve demo. It runs on Microsoft Power Platform in your organization’s own environment, which a self-serve demo does not have. Book a live demo and someone from our team will take you through it, in person or on a video call. Meanwhile, the screenshots above are the real thing.
Why does the demo open on the portal, then?
Because it is the side a self-serve demo can show end to end, and it is where the configuration your staff build becomes visible. Every page is drawn from records the staff side keeps: when a reviewer approves a step there, the checklist moves here.
Is everything in my demo accurate?
Not necessarily. Your programs, fees, and rules were drafted from what your website publishes and what you told us, and a person reviewed the draft before the demo was built. A draft can still be wrong the way any first draft is wrong: a fee from the wrong one of two published tables, or a step named in our words rather than yours. How we use AI explains how the draft is written and checked. The product underneath is not drafted: it behaves in your demo exactly as it does for a client.
Is any of this real data?
No. The history in your demo was built for it, and the only real thing in it is your own sign-in. Accounting entries go to a sandbox rather than a ledger, and email goes to the address you gave us.
